Well, 9-1-3 (spearing), but just as plain as day, IMHO.
However, I had the sound turned down on the TV except when the R announced the result of the replay review, so I was not aware of whatever comments were made by the officiating expert (and the announcers, like that means anything). So, my FBS source tells me that the reason for the "no foul," was that the contact was not "forcible." Really? Oh, and the contact was more of a result of him tripping over the left tackle's legs and falling into the passer. More, "Really?" He purposely lunges forward, lowers his body and head, charges directly toward the passer, and plows the tip top of the crown of his helmet directly into the chest and right arm of the passer, and, as a result of the contact, the passer is knocked forcefully to the ground. But its not forcible and the guy tripped. Yeah. Right. He had already lunged toward the passer before he literally flew over the legs of the tackle, brushing the leg/hip of the tackle, with absolutely no effect on his movement.
I hope Shaw shows and explains that in a game review soon.
