While I've got some Under Armour gear, I really don't like overpaying for polyester t shirts.

I've got tees from Walmart, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, all over.  I've got compression tights for the old Steve & Barry's chain I bought for $5.  I used to buy Walmart 's brand of compression short but the ones around here only carry the Starter brand now and they have seams that chafe in some bad locations.  I have had to switch to Reebok and Champion shorts from Target.

For cold wx gear, I have Champion mock t necks, a Rocky set of poly fleece long johns for extremes, with some Reebok and UA cold gear tights for in between.

Socks: since we are all black pants all the time now, I've started wearing the Reebok synthetic blended sport sock but only on grass.  The turf "pills" will bind with the synthetic fibers and ruin them.  I've got some cotton blend baseball stockings to wear on artificial surfaces.

I don't spend much on undies.  The articles I have read in some of the runner's magazines seem to indicate that  the cheap stuff starts retaining the "stink" much sooner than the name brands do.  Other than that there seems to be no reason to wear a $40 black t- shirt no one should see.

I had a black T-shirt made with the following printed on it.

"I would agree with you Coach, but then we'd both be wrong."

This way all arguments end with my pulling up the striped shirt, and I don't have to say a thing.

*Transitioning away from polyester stripes to the "new" stripe material.
*Undershirts are either a loose Starter "tech" shirt (+/-$10@wmt), but tinkering with a Starter compression tank (again +/-$10 @ wmt).
*Due to the sweat making them soaked, last year I transitioned away from regular JCP underwear (TMI?) to Starter compression shorts (+/-$10 @ wmt)
*Lastly, due to my shoes being a tick too big, I'm wearing a pair of Thorlo thin (or similar 'running' socks) ankle socks under my stripe socks.

Tell you what, once I tried a "tech" shirt,  I never wore standard cotton shirt again as undershirt.

What is cold weather gear??
All kidding aside, L/S polyester stripes are pretty warm but add L/S compression shirt too  - if ever needed.
I have a pair of leg tights I run in, but never needed for FB.

for my undergarments i wear a black mock T that i purchased from Honigs. If its cold i wear a thermal mock longsleeve that is NIke.  I wear Nike compression shorts, then under armour long tights, with a draw string.  As for my socks i wear 2 pair.  White NIke socks, then a pair of black NIke socks.

Nice, but I think I'll stick with compression shirts. :D
Now look, you know different people think about life in different ways. Lawyers think life is a big court room, doctors probably think life is like a big operation, and bus drivers think life is... er... a big bus I guess, who knows what the hell those guys think. Anyway, I've always thought of life as a big football game...

Usually whatever I can get for free!   yEs:

UA DryFit tee shirt.  Standard compression shorts over Jockey briefs (although I'm thinking about a pair of the ones pictured above!).  Thorlos padded socks.

I know a ref who's "favorite" undergarment has been panty hose ever since the time his wife found a pair in the car glove compartment after he had done an out of town game.  When questioned on why there was pair of panty hose in there, his response was that it was something many refs wear now to help keep their legs warm.  He has had to wear them ever since.

You may laugh, but back in the day before Stromgren's and Under Armor, panty hose was in a lot of bags.

I remember a Friday night in the Panhandle when we stopped the car at a Target and all five of us ran in and bought a pair because a Norther was coming in.

We did get some looks.

Did you try to explain, or just stand there like "yes, yes I am buying a pair of pantyhose right now with my four friends here, and what of it?"

From top to bottom, I wear Nike Pro Sleeveless shirts. They are a great combination of comfort and some compression without being too tight. They also handle moisture better than UA products, and I'm a world class sweater!

Brooks (running) makes a fantastic pair of briefs that I wear for all athletic purposes, even when officiating. Even when we wore white knickers, I had the black briefs covered by a white pair of tights. Don't wear cotton underwear -- get something technical to wear here.

For every football game I've ever worked, I've worn UA tights. My first year, they came to just below the knee, but I didn't like the style. Since, they've been full length. This year, I'm considering a new pair of running tights. I'll probably go look at some this month at the local running store. I don't like the style of the Nike Pro or I would wear them.

As with the briefs, there is only one brand of athletic socks I wear -- Feetures. I wear the lights as an under sock and the regulars as the one on top -- at least now that we have the black pants (they come in black). Works perfect for me. These socks control moisture well enough without getting hot.
