Goal Line Extended KSU v OSU

I can't find a videoclip, but at approximately 10 minutes in the 3rd quarter there was a great play at the pylon by Klein that demonstrates goal line extended principles.  It happened just before a 1 yd TD sneak by Klein if anyone can find a clip.

Stop the video at 1:26 and you'll see the ball carrier hit the pylon with his leg and the ball is still outside the G/L.  OOB at the 1/2.

Was ballcarrier airborne when he hit pylon?  Would that make a difference?

The ball would be OOB where it was when the ball carrier went OOB.

I believe this is the play situation from that document that fits this scenario.

4. Ball carrier A22 heads for the right-hand pylon at the goal line.  The ball is in his right
hand.  His foot hits the pylon just before the ball crosses (a)  the pylon or (b) the
extension of the goal line just to the right (outside) of the pylon.  RULING:  (a) and (b) No
touchdown in either case.  Because the pylon is out of bounds the ball is dead when
A22’s foot hits it.  Thus in both cases the ball is dead before it crosses the goal line.

At 1:09, it appears A3 has both hands inside the sleeves of the defender (B4) and is pushing B4's shoulder pads up.  It looks like A3 is restricting B4's ability to get further outside - foul.

BTW   The R wound the clock at the ready (2:24).  Is that correct?

Outside 2 minutes in a half; BC was OB (no score); so, game clock re-starts on the R's signal. In most cases, the play clock would already be running. In this case, the play clock (25) would also re-start on the R's signal.

Why doesn't 3-3-2-c apply?
c.  After a Score. The game clock shall stop on an official’s signal after a touchdown, field goal or safety. It shall be started again as in (a) above unless the down is repeated, in which case it shall be started when the ball is legally snapped.

When replay changed the call to OB at the 1-foot line, then there was no score, thus the OB is what caused the clock to stop. So, start the clock on the RFP.

The down was NOT repeated.  For some reason (dementia?), I thought there was an enforced penalty.

That's what I saw and is why I raised the question. IMO, these two are doing more than dancing.
