Whiny Defensive Coaches Claim Offenses Being Helped by New Rules

As we all know, the "big hits" have not been outlawed. But I guess it makes for a great excuse for DB's and defensive coaches as to why they can't stop the receivers..."we are not allowed to hit them".  No, you ARE allowed to hit them.  In fact, you can even go low on them when they are in the air, causing them to do a somersault and land on their head and break their neck and it will not be a foul.  All that is being asked is that you stay away from the head and neck area.  That is the smallest part of a guy's body anyway.  Why would you want to aim there and risk a complete whiff?  Center mass , fellas...center mass...aim there!

What happened to DBs that actually wrapped up and went to the ground with the receiver?  I don't think I can recall ever seeing a flag on a DB that wrapped his arms around a player.
