Using the HUDL and Microsoft Office Mix for training
« on: October 11, 2015, 03:32:30 PM »
I have been trying to find a way to use the HUDL as a training tool for my association. Recently HUDL removed the voice over capability so there was no way of offering off line training. Then I found Office Mix when I upgraded Microsoft Office 365. Office Mix lets you record screen shots while also providing narration. It works pretty good. I whipped up a quick power point on blocks below the waist. I didn't script it out so it needs some work but it is a good way to get info to your groups. The presentation can be saved on Microsoft site so you don't have to worry about hosting it.

i like it also. Suggestion. I like the pauses at the point of contact and the notes that pop up, but it would also be nice to see the plays in real speed.

Will definitely have to look into doing something like this.

That sounds like a cool piece of software. I will have to try it out.
