Well, for those that don't subscribe to the Arbiter CFO site, you won't miss much of anything in the Rules Changes Video posted yesterday. Pretty much just Shaw reading the wording of the rules changes press release. A little bit of video related to Blocking Below the Waist, but nothing essential. Bottom line: You're not really missing anything.
Somebody truly needs to inquire about what is "the initial charge" of linemen (Team A and Team B), with respect to BBW. A single straight line charge? Directly forward? Charging in a straight line, but at an angle to the sideline OK? Changing direction during the charge OK? Does the charge have to be immediately after the snap? Is a delayed charge OK (i.e., just holding in a stance for some amount of time, then charging toward an opponent)? Rising from a 3 or 4 point stance, or from an elbows on knees stance, to an upright position, while charging forward, then diving to make contact below the waist OK?
The first one to get affirmitive answers from Shaw or an FBS coordinator wins the Kewpie doll, and my gratitude (the doll is probably worth a lot more).
