2 is incorrect. Major editorial change this year says a fumble that comes to rest beyond the spot of the fumble with no player attempting to recover it  is returned to the spot of the fumble. A, 1/G @ B-1, 40, RFP. Although in the real world, it will probably be 25 PC if the crew needs to discuss and/or explain the ruling. And replay won’t need to step in because no TD signal was given.

5 is A-25 if B doesn’t take the safety.

6 is 1/10 @ A-20. Foul by team not in possession, run ends beyond neutral zone, penalize from end of the run (A-5).

8 is B 1/10 @B-10. All criteria for PSK are met. Basic spot is B-30, spot of the foul is B-20, so penalize half the distance from there.

That’s what I get for answering a quiz while sitting at the 13th tee of the PGA Championship. I will acknowledge and correct my errors tomorrow.

2. Yeah, return to the spot off the fumble for 2022. AR 8-2-1-X will, obviously, need to be edited or replaced. And, yeah, officially, that would just be an automatic 40-second play clock. But, everyone will be confused, and coaches will want an explanation, and Replay will get involved to make sure WHEN possession was lost, etc. You’ll end up with a 25-second play clock on the R’s signal.
I've been so focused on the changes to BBW, that I forgot about the other things. Gotta get better.

3. Geez. Yeah, A-45. Can’t explain how I got to A-44, other than the distractions of Southern Hills, on a morning in May.

5. Yeah. For the non-safety option, I was just lost on field position, apparently. May have been distracted by Tony Finau teeing off, or something.

6. Yeah, exact same thought process, but I only went 10 yards, instead of 15 from the A-5. Sheesh.

8. Yeah. In 46 seasons, never, ever, had this occur, so, remembering that PSK applies to UNSUCCESSFUL field goal attempts is a challenge. But, we gotta be smart enough to meet those challenges. Failed that one. Thankfully, on paper. I hope I get that on the field this year, so I can apply what I have re-learned.
