How are spring games assigned

I was just wondering how the spring games are assigned in the NCAA, and if anyone knows of any spring games going on between 23 April and15 May 'around' the Florida area.

Most FCS and BCS spring games officials usually are assigned by the Conference Coordinator/Supervisor (himself) or they may give a list of names to their scrimmage liaison/coordinator. The list of names could be conference officials, officials who applied to the conference, officials they may want to observe.

Most DII / DIII usually have a camp for applicants during spring games and or supervisor will assigned.

Not sure about spring games during your timeframe, there are plenty spring games in the Florida area: 12 NCAA football programs in Florida and my numbers may be off little bit. I do know the ACC, Sun Belt, C-USA, Big East, SEC, MEAC, Pioneer League all have schools in Florida. Then there is Ed Waters and Webber??

I know that FL Atlantic will be having theirs on April 23, they are Sun Belt. Most of them get done before I get there. I just cant find too much info on Div2 and Div3 schools.

Well if anyone knows any officials in the Florida area working a spring game between April 23 and May 15 let me know. I would love it if I could tag along and hang out with some fellow officials while I am down there.

D3 can not have any spring participation.  I don't think Florida has much lower level NAIA/D2 schools that play football.

Most of the southern schools finish spring practice early (by mid April) since it gets hot earlier in the year down here.
