Rule 8-3-3b1 Fouls by Team B on a try

the score and repeating the try after enforcement, or declining the
penalty(ies) and accepting the score. Team A may accept the score with

Why would Team A decline the score and replay the try ?  ???

1. QB A12's helmet came off during the TD, not caused by foul, so he must sit out for one play.
2. OC finishes drawing up a play in the dirt that "can't miss"!

Maybe they kicked for 1 point and now they decide to go for 2 given the penalty yardage.

Maybe they scored 1 point and want to go for 2 now that they can go from the 1 1/2

Thank you - it was a question in a test on MyReferee regarding a foul during the PAT

I assumed it was declined by rule -.................. always learning.

To add to this discussion a bit more:

On a PAT where the kick is good and the holder and/or kicker are run into (not roughing) by B and since it is not a personal or an unsportsmanlike conduct, the penalty does not carry over.  Correct?

Reason I ask is that this happened on back to back PATs in a playoff game the other night and, although I think I am clear with the running into penalty as not being enforced on the free kick, its seems odd to basically allow B to do this on every kick if they happened to be so inclined.
