Not even remotely close to me, but shout out to Burton.  Not many teams enter the playoffs with a 2-8 record; even fewer make it to the quarterfinals.  If they do manage to win out - does anyone know, has anyone ever won a state championship and still had an overall breakeven (8-8) record or worse?

Edit - just found out they had 7 forfeits this year.  Still, that's pretty dang good for not getting much playing time!

That team was 8-1 going into the last week. They then were forced to forfeit 7 wins because of an ineligible player, making them 1-8. They won their final game of the regular season and made it into the playoffs. They are not your typical 2-8 2A team.
