Up here, three to five minutes prior to kickoff, captains at centre with R/U. On the other coast, same thing, save all officials were present.

What I wanna know is how come a team with 22 players has six captains. See that a lot.

Not a texan Texan, so please forgive me if I overstep here.  Isn't Texas under NCAA rules?

Ahhhh.  You would think think these extra captains would have better things to do like getting their teams fired up.  ;)
