However, right at the end, the cheerleaders decide to start what I think is the most ill-timed cheer of all time.

Towards the end of the video you can see a coach for the grey team pointing and yelling at the Referee. I wonder what he was saying? Something along the lines of blaming him/other officials for causing the problem/not controlling the game. What I see is asst coaches also out of control after the majority of players are back on their respective sidelines. I'd like to see the game film of this.
