Have any of the games that are going to be played this weekend at JerryWorld or in Mansfield announced in any way that they will implement 7 man officiating mechanics? There was some word floating around that some of them might.   z^

During the regular season, I do believe that there was a smattering of games that had asked for 7-man crews in the Greater Houston Area. And there was some discussion amongst some of the area coaches about using this format for the playoffs, but it never really came to fruition.  z^

I know some chapters during the playoffs have asked the coaches if they wanted 7 men.  Far as I know they have declined and stay with 5.  Do you coaches want 5 because they think with two extra officials there will be more flags?  Are they just stuck in a rut and don't want to change?  Would really like to know what coaches are concerned about when it comes to using 7.

I know that the Denton Guyer Coach likes to use 7 Man Crews. He did earlier in the playoffs. They used 5 Man last Saturday against Longview but not sure what they are doing this weekend.
