What has changed in the way of rules and/or mechanics as a result of specific plays being reviewed?
NFL I guess has the longest history of IR, and so I would imagine they have the most IR induced changes.
1. Considering a catch
a. control of the ball
b. football related move
c. ball contacting ground
2. Tuck rule
3. Illegal hits to head or using helmet
NCAA will likely have some discussion and directive on the wrist contacting the ground
Longer wait after play ends before blowing a whistle in cases where the ball comes loose immediately before or after runner is downed.
