How many low blocks outside of tackle box did you all see in your scrimmages so far?  We saw about 6-7 in one game. All by the same team. A team our chapter doesn’t cover btw. Coach seemed confused when we were trying to explain to him what they were doing wrong. 3 of those blocks were by defense cutting lead blockers.

None so far!  Done one six man, one 11 man, and a JUCO scrimmage.  There were BBW but they were 100% legal at initial charge on linemen.

Zip. One chop block, and the coaches were furious with the players.

I saw one and it was legal.   We circled both teams around before the scrimmage and explained the new rule.  Not sure if the comprehended but we gave them a full demonstration.  Plan on doing the same this week.
