What's the problem? They got it rt as the block was at the 20 during the return, which ended at the 30.

Problem was the WH.  Thankfully, his crew pulled his tail out of the fire.

The R announced 15yd penalty, which it isn't.  BIB is 10yd.

Did they get it right or did they get lucky?  Half the distance was announced which equaled 10 yards.  Benefit of the doubt, they got it right.

10 yd penalty (that's what I thought)...

Does everybody think this actually was a BIB?  Looks like the A player dipped and turned after the B player started his block....

Clearly.  Even if A dipped, B puts his hands right between the numbers and pushes him down.

It's not either one.  Can't see the number clearly, but it looks like it might be 86.  He starts on the front line, retreats, and make his illegal block right on the 20 yard line, just inside the numbers on the top of the screen.  If you watch the slow motion part of the replay, the fouls occurs at the 0:35 mark.

Question to Texas officials:  under NCAA rules, the number of the fouler is announced.  That was not done here.  Is that a difference between NCAA rules and Texas rules?

Yes.  The Texas mechanic is to not announce the number.

Our footballers are more sensitive than our basketballers so we can't embarrass them in public and announce the number like they can do with the roundballers who foul.

That and when the official screws up and does not get the number or gets the wrong number ( easy to do with a crew of 5) they do not make a wrong announcement. The foul was there just did not get the number or right number.

Looked like #43 to me - you can see it a little clearer when he is turned running parallel to the LOS.

There is another possible BIB by #4 white on #24 red @ the 25yd at the same time.

I believe that because of the angle of the blockers to the blockees and that they both came down on their sides - neither is a BIB but where pushed legally from the side.

How the blockee lands (on his side, nose, whatever) is a HACK poor indicator of whether the force was applied to the side, back, or wherever.  Matter of fact, in slo mo the Team A player, who is blocked at the B-20 near the field number, appears to pitch forward immediately after the contact, but then turns on his side just before hitting the ground.
