So the game I worked last Friday night was between two undefeated teams in district (Columbus v. Halletsville (sp?)).
Was a good back and forth game, but unfortunately for Halletsville, their QB threw an interception with less than six minutes left in the game. Columbus ran the clock out to take it 14-13.
Myself (I was on the game clock) and the play clock operator got told by the crew chief that we were the best clock operators his crew has had.
Not to toot my own horn, but considering when I started running the clocks three years ago, I was a little nervous, even though I had undergone training, but now I am more settled and more confident running either clock. Hope this trend continues.
What is it, two weeks left in the regular season before playoffs begin? Hope to get a playoff game or two
