Just got the call and I got a game and making a roadtrip. It doesn't get any better than that!!!

Those second round Pee Wee games can sure be fun Ornery.  I heard the 2nd grader QB on the visiting team really has a cannon so don't get beat deep.  The home team has a great middle LB, but the coach just does not know how to use him the right way.

Well, it's rather obvious that your game wasn't either a "coaches pick" or through a TASO chapter; so the telephone call that you received must, no doubt, have been from that big circus tent pitched-up over there on Manor Road. Glad they were able to get in touch with you so soon, Orn!. Had you not answered that phone call, the Ringmaster and his Dancing Monkey would have had no other option other than to resort to "knocking on doors" and looking for playoff officials!

It gets a little better.  We have two 5A local games.  No road trip.  I'm wanting to save the road trip until the middle of December.

Actually it was a coaches pick. This particular coach used to use us all the time. Then he moved to another school and he is picking up where he left off. I am adding a new stadium though. Worked many a game in the greater Dallas area, just never here. It gonna be fun!!!!

Since I will apparently be warming the bench this week the wife and I will be in the Dallas area visiting grandson.  I'd love to watch you guys in action.  When and where?

TXMike, you know that he would never dare reveal where he would be working a playoff game at!  He will be exposed though, I'm sure!  One way or another, his name will come about behind the one he hides behind.
