*10.2.5 C : On third and 8 from B's 45-yard line, runner A1 falls to the ground as he goes out of bounds at B's 40. B1 piles on. A2 then punches B2. The covering official indicates the foul s by both B1 and A2. The coach A then insults the game official for calling the foul on A2.   RULING : The distance penalties for B1's dead-ball foul and A2's punch cancel. The unsportsmanlike foul against the coach of A will be enforced with a 15-yard penalty, giving A a first and 10 from B's 25. A2 shall be disqualified for fighting. (9-4-1;9-4-3c;
9-8-1c;10-2-5b;10-4-4)

Either that or the UNS was suppose to be on Coach from B.

The only way it can be 1/10 at B-25 is for the UNS foul to be on B's coach. What am I missing? Probably nothing, but the proof-reading committee did.  nAnA

If coach of B insulted the official for calling the foul on A2, we have a very confused coach :o ???

One way or the other, the case play is wrong.

Did they get the yard line and down wrong, or did they get the coach wrong?

CLEARLY, it meant to read that B2 punched A2 and then A's coach insults the officials because he knows that his kids wouldn't just take a punch and not retaliate, so clearly you... and I'm quoting here... "blind *bleeping* *bleeps* aren't watching the game" and missed his own kids fighting back.

That's the only logical explanation.

But that STILL doesn't give A a 1&10 at the 25.

It wouldn't? It'd be 2 dead ball PFs on B, and 1 on A -- same if the got the coach wrong.

Read you post.

CLEARLY, it meant to read that B2 punched A2  - PF on B
and then A's coach insults the officials  - USC on A
missed his own kids fighting back. - PF on A

That's 2 fouls on A, one on B.  We're backing up.

We'd still have the late hit on B1 -- PF on B
Then B2 punches A1 -- PF on B
Then A's coach berates the officials for "missing" a call on his own team -- PF on A

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but the joke (which is ruined now...) was that A DIDN'T fight back, but A's coach was in such disbelief that his team kept their cool that he got an UNS yelling at the officials about it.
