The 'recommended' knee pads will get the FBS guys out of the knee-pad/knee covering police business. We'll see what the players do with regard to leg coverings. The NFL has great control on this, because they can fine players. Ya, know, with the players getting NIL gold, they should now get fines for illegal equipment. Each conference should have a staff of observers that attend games, and issue fines to those that don't seem to want to comply.
