Dead Ball Fouls

During the 4th quarter, ball carrier B17 taunts pursuing A55 before scoring a touchdown on an intercepted pass. After B17 crosses the goal line, he is tackled by A55 five yards into the end zone. B17 stands up and makes an obscene gesture.

Taking a stab at this without the books.
The DB PF by A55 and the USC foul by B17 after the score will offset each other. B17's USC foul before the score will be enforced on the try or kickoff at A's option. B17 is disqualified for committing two USC fouls (with the second one possibly flagrant by itself).

Checked the book and it looks like both USC fouls and the dead ball PF would all offset. B17 is still disqualified though.

The penalties are all cancelled as none were completed and they were all either USC or DB PF's. You are correct about the two separate USC's DQing the player.

Was just verifying that a single foul by one team would cancel all penalties no matter how many the other team had- similar to live ball fouls.
There could be situations where this would be a huge advantage to one team- which seems strange given that we usually enforce all dead ball fouls.
