109 WWII Vet

The greatest honor I had working the Army All American Bowl Saturday was receiving the game ball from a 109 year old WWII vet.

:patrioticon: WOW :patrioticon: Amazing that Mr. Overton, at 109, still looks dapper and is able to stand aWaRd. Being born in 1907 or 1908 means he was here when T.R. was president, a field goal was worth 4 points, Ford Model Ts began to roll off the assembly lines and our Boston Red Sox had won more World Serieses than them there Yankees. Mr. Overton would have served in WW II at a spry 33..not a young pup by the standards then. pHiNzuP pHiNzuP pHiNzuP

:patrioticon: :patrioticon:GOD BLESS YOU, MR. OVERTON, AND GOD BLESS THE USA :patrioticon: :patrioticon:

THANKS, Tex Doc for this post tiphat:
