Defender interferes with receiver flag down for DPI receiver catches the ball penalty is accepted were to you spot the foul tack on or go back to the previous spot?

Previous spot. The only way to "tack on" would be if A scores. Then they would have the option to enforce the penalty on the try or the subsequent kickoff. If the ball is downed in the field of play, the penalty would have to be declined to keep the yardage.

See Table 7-5, Section 2 on page 67 of this year's paper copy of rulebook.

It's easy to get the players, getting 'em to play together, that's the hard part. - Casey Stengel

While the catch was completed, the DPI foul would have had to occur prior to the ball showing up = loose ball = previous spot. Same holds true for illegal touching, if the pass is completed to an eligible. The foul occurred when the ball is touched not when the pass is completed = loose ball = previous spot.
