Doc, any clues on which chapters are working the TAAPS State Finals in Corsicana and Zepher this weekend??
Summarizing the last few posts for TAPPS.

11-man @Corsicana
D1: Fort Worth (7:00 Friday)
D2: South Plains (7:00 Saturday)
D3: Tyler (12:00 Saturday)

6-man @Zephyr
D1: Pecan Valley (7:00 Friday)
D2: Abilene (12:00 Saturday)
D3: Pecan Valley (6:00 Saturday)

Since we're talking TAPPS and I don't get many opportunities for these 2 of my interests to come together. The rest of Dallas Christian's officials in these playoffs.
Round 1-Dallas Christian vs. Fort Bend Christian: Dallas
Round 2-Dallas Christian vs. Houston Lutheran South: College Station (and they got to come back Monday too)
Semis-Dallas Christian vs. Tyler T.K. Gorman: Waco

When are you all going to share the TAPPS love with Houston?  ;D We have several crews that work TAPPS all season long and would love a shot at working a playoff game.

Houston and a 6man UIL football playoff game is the longest (last time used) streak of chapter and classification in the state.  It has never happened and we probably call 30% of the 6man games in the state during the regular season.  Houston has also not called a TAPPS championship game in over 20 years.

Coby, I'm not sure I follow.  Houston call 30% of the UIL six man games in the regular season?  Not sure if that's what you meant but it sure doesn't sound right.  Most six man schools are north of Austin.  I can think of maybe two that aren't.

No, he's saying we cover 30% of the total six man games played in the state. All of our six man games are private schools but there are a plethora of them that we cover.

I'll make a trade with you.  If we get the sixman championship we'll trade that for the 6A championship.  You guys can break your streak and we'll break our streak as well.   yEs:

Fine by me. Houston could stand to use some fresh faces in the playoffs anyways.  :sTiR:

Well, dad-gummit, that would eliminate me, if I were still calling.
When I had to retire, my eating habits stayed the same & I ballooned up.
Decided I HAD to do something & lost 35#.
I'm now under 200 for the first time since the mid-60s.

Still looking for who is doing Seagraves/Albany.  I think it is Permian, but I have not verified yet.
