Lot of Monday night games in North Texas. Just an observation no point to the post.

Maybe we can get teams to consider Monday night an option during the regular season to help during the busy weeks.

Why in the world won't the UIL let schools make these games up on Sunday?  Kind of stupid not to.

For the vast majority of churches that is the day they worship so it would interfere with services.

Some of the areas where they postponed are still having major traffic problems due to ice. May not have helped to play them yesterday.

Yeah, all the North Texas games were delayed until today except the Ennis/Poteet game, which they got in Thursday night (they tried to get Cedar Hill/Ryan in Thursday as well but it got too bad that far north too early).

They are working furiously right now to get Apogee stadium ready for their 3pm kickoff.

I think "why not Sunday" because, contrary to some thoughts, football isn't a religion here in Texas and Sunday would affect way too many folks sensibilities.
