Nobody said life was fair. And the R is not always right. 7 guys swim; 7 guys sink.

8 makes it even worse!

And if nothing is done by the Big 12 Supervisor of Officials Office, let alone any public lip-service being rendered to either the press or the affected teams; and by merely choosing to ignore the foul as well as the spirit and intent of the rules and thereby giving rise to suspicions of covering-up, largely to save face, then that total number of "sinkers" should be going to 9!   z^

Woohoo!!  Looks like I will have money to buy Christmas presents as I am not buying drinks for the house.  Play made the CFO video released today   Play 25.   As most of us expected, Dr Redding says flag should have stayed and penalty enforced

Clearly this was a foul that should have been enforced.   Again, common sense....
Not sure how the HL or the R allow this to be waved off.   The SJ needs to TELL them that it is 15 yds and tack it on.....no question.    Looks like no drinks need to be bought on this one except by the HL.   Definitely a learning opportunity.

Revisiting this one for 2014. Moving forward for this season-- 9-2-5 is certainly different from 9-2-3-a.

Regarding 9-2-3-a, i.e. official gets hit hard by coach who is in white or on field of play while covering the play. 15 yards 3-and-1 or 15 yards LB treated as DB? Does it matter if there's a score on the play? The penalty statement clearly gives us latitude, so......
which is it?

Again, I'm talking about an official that goes down or makes significant [unintentional] contact that hurts...not simply 9-2-5 i.e. I had to go around the coach.

Survey says?
