Blocked PAT Leverage/Hurdling?
« on: September 21, 2014, 08:09:13 PM »
Was coming to post the other video and remembered I had one from last season to ask about.

http://youtu.be/IthBULvkiRU (Tight and wide of 2 plays)

The question is do you see any leverage or hurdling type foul on these blocks. Only the 2nd one was flagged. It was signaled as a personal foul with an explanation of "He jumped over the snapper." After half he said they had talked as a crew and believes they missed it since he did not come from more than 1 yard off the line of scrimmage. I wanted to see what you all thought. The player in question hadn't done this move all year and didn't do it again after the flag (and we got scored on a lot in this game, there were many chances).

I don't see any fouls here.  Looks like weak blocking with the defender shooting the gap between players.
