Quick rules question on starting the clock
« on: October 11, 2014, 01:11:30 PM »
Help!! Team A scores a touchdown on a scrimmage play, but the ball carrier is flagged for USC as he high steps into the end zone. We nullify the td, and penalize A from the spot of the foul, leaving the ball beyond the line to gain. Clock starts on the . . .? (I'm betting the answer is: the snap).  Thanks,

What stopped the clock? The touchdown.

When does the clock start after a TD if a penalty erases the score? On the snap. (3-3-2-c)

It sounds like y'all got it right.
