Rumors about rumors.......
« on: February 12, 2015, 08:23:10 AM »
Deflate-gate Charter II :
From "confidential street sources :-X" , I've heard the following rumor(s)...

That 11 out 12 footballs tested at halftime were deflated (we all knew that yEs: yEs: yEs:).
10 of the 11 deflated balls were between 12.0 PSI and 12.49 PSI (many now know that yEs: yEs: :o).
Mother Nature + frozen tundra can cause that (all New Englanders know that yEs:).
The one REALLY deflated football was the ball kidnapped by the Baby Horse defender after a Brady pick :!
What did the Baby Horses (Colts) do with that there football for the remainder of  the first half :o ??? ::) 8] >:( :( :!# >:D >:D >:D nAnA??????

Just something to ponder, guys, while we await the release of the new NFHS rules......

I believe the Red Sox equipment truck is still leaving Fenway today. Similar to Ground Hog day, if it has snow chains on, it indicates 6 more weeks of Winter...... tiphat:

Ralph, it appears that the truck did indeed leave today.

Wonder if they've got snow chains on...

VALJ - Thanks for the heartwarming/bone-chilling pics of Friendly Fenway. I have a feeling that Wrigley Field (your fav) probably looks similar.  yEs: I'm sure the equipment truck had chains on :( :'(, but they'll need to come off after crossing Mason-Dixon. Those of the South haven't allowed those of the North to tear up their roads since Gen. Sherman's march to the sea.

Doubt that, to be honest.  I've don't think they've gotten 3 feet of snow in the last month.

If Mike & Mike get boring, I'll usually switch to the Weather Channel so as to feel sorry for myself. This morning I felt sorry for my friends south of Mason-Dixon. Drive carefully, guys. :)

My wife ran off with my best friend ("woof!") and I sure do miss him.  Now they're ice-bound in Clarksville, TN.  Thankfully, the Westminster Kennel Club show is on tonight!

Reminds me of the internet ad where a guy was looking for a wife, preferably one who owned a dog: "Send pictures of the dog."
"Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good."

Appreciated, Ralph.  Fortunately, I have a job that I can work from home when necessary due to weather or other issues.  Too bad I can't work football games from home when the rain comes down to hard using a "Refbot".
