Not sure what play you are talking about.  This is one I saw in the game but is different than your description

That would be the one. Under the proposed change by the AAC head of officiating, this would probably be considered a targeting 1 foul, no ejection unless he did it again.

He launches off his feet and hits the WR in the head with his forearm. What are you watching if you think that's borderline??

He's trying to avoid making contact by launching himself at the other player? He doesn't leave his feet until the receiver has already clearly lost the ball and the contact was going to be in the end zone. The entire purpose of what the Miami player here was to make a big, punishing hit. Why are you trying to let him off the hook?

I don't think incidental means what you think it means. And trying to avoid making contact (as if that matters much) by launching like a missile? Another...curious definition.
