Rose Bowl Crew
« on: January 02, 2016, 12:13:24 PM »
Before anyone jumps down my throat here, I have no dog in this fight; nor am I suggesting the officials had anything to do with the outcome of this game...

My question is: was the crew a Pac 12 crew or a mixed crew of some form?  I know the R and U identified themselves at the coin flip as Pac 12 officials; and, in the old days, the Rose Bowl used to have split crews (Big 10 and Pac 10).  However, I thought the NCAA no longer assigned crews from the conferences involved in the game....

Again, I'm not suggesting anything one way the other about the officiating; just curious about the assignment itself.

And the R introduced themselves as a Big 12 crew. Non issue here.
