Game "Program" for Officials
« on: May 27, 2016, 08:50:15 AM »
Hi there.

Just wondering if at the NCAA level, are they game "programs" that are made for the officials.  Perhaps something like a small document (thinking of starting at 4 pages) that showed history between the two teams, average rushes, average passes, etc.

Tx

I think most crews will do this research themselves.

I actually do a "scouting report" for my college crew with information that I think would be helpful for the crew to know during the game.  Takes about an hour or so to prepare.

What sort of information do you put in your report getnbetter? I typically do my own scouting report but I'd like to know more about what others put in theirs.

We usually go over it in pregame for about 15 minutes or so.

I'd add snappers and QBs and kickers names and numbers. QB and kickers, lefties or righties.
