Interior Linemen - Alignment at the snap
« on: September 05, 2017, 03:45:00 PM »
Noticed this in multiple games this past week but was really obvious in the UCLA vs Texas A&M game.  Is the guidance now something like "If the 5 interior linemen are not actually in the backfield, let this go?"  In easily dozens of plays in this game the tackle was barely up to the back end of the guard who was barely up to the back end of the snapper.  On several plays the wide receiver was "in the backfield" but he clearly wasn't behind the tackle?

I don't know why it appears to be difficult for the wings to get them lined up correctly. They are letting the inmates run the jail.

First time = talk to. Second time =  ^flag. That will fix it.
