How does your state handle doo rags?  Are they allowed to be worn, and if so, do they have to be tucked up underneath the helmet?

In SC, they can wear whatever they want as long as it does not hang out below the helmet.

I heard indirectly our state commissioner told us they are perfectly legal so I've stopped worrying about them.

This is the NC ruling as well. If it's not dangling outside the helmet, we're not going to care if you're wearing some sort of hair net thingy.

If it is outside the helmet, either take it off or tuck it up.
