Blocking rules history
« on: October 17, 2024, 09:29:20 AM »
Does anybody happen to have some kind of history or synopsis of what blocking was allowed when.  E.g., IIRC, at some point all A players could block below the waist under certain conditions but now most can't and those who can are more restricted but I'm curious to read the details.  This is not important so please don't spend a bunch of time typing something, just curious if somebody had something they'd done for another reason.

I've got the Anatomy of a Game book, and if that information is anywhere, it's going to be in there... I'll look through it this weekend and see if I can find anything.

I sense an innocent insult there, but I’ll let that go. Got more pressing issues at the moment, but I’ll see when what my 1972 through 2024 books say with regard to holding and blocks in the back sometime this weekend. Await with anticipation.😁
