Ncaa Weapons Rule?
« on: January 14, 2026, 08:46:28 AM »
Was watching a college wrestling match recently With Okie State. Frequently saw the Cow Poke fans and wrestlers with their pistol fingers in the air.
Had me thinking: did this affect how the Okie State football players did their pistol symbol last season?
Since forever, Okie State does their pistol deal, but with ncaa fb stating they cant do 'weapons celebrations' - I assume it was across the board, or was a team like Okie State granted an exception since it is not the gimmick celebration of the day?
Curious

All in all, for college football this past season was there a "line in the sand" and nothing weapon-related was allowed, or were there sone exceptions due to long-standing traditions? (i.e. Okie State and others)
