« on: November 24, 2010, 08:23:58 PM »
Does anyone have any information on any good HS clinics.
I would really like to attend the CFO Clinic, in Chicago. I have sent them a few emails inquiring about information a dstatus but they have not returned any of my emails so I may attend the clinic in Fresno, instead.

Any other good clinics would be really appreciated.

Football Officials International Aloha Clinic is an excellent clinic at the University of Hawai'i (if you can make it).  Fresno is an excellent HS camp also.

I received some very good information about some clinics that will happen this spring in the south and southeast part of the country.  From what I understand, there will be 4-8 of them spread out from Texas to Florida.  They will be limited to about 28 officials per camp (to get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructors) and the instructors will include NFL, Big XII, and SEC officials along with other college officials.  I believe they will be 3-day clinics, but I'm not sure at this point.  I'm going to be helping the guy who is putting these on and will post more information when I have the details. :thumbup

Great work guys thanks.

I sure wish I could attend Sumstine's Aloha Clinic.

I will be attending the Fresno clinic next year. I am going to start on the East Coast this year and work my way to the West coast next year, hopefully.

I know an NFL Referee that is a Clinician at the Fresno and Reno clinics.

There is a very good High School 5-man mechanics in Indianapolis put on by the Indiana Football Officials Association.   The clinic is usually the second weekend in July in Indianapolis.  Both onfield and classroom work.  Last years cost was $150.00.  The clinic is usually advertised on Honig's website.
