Punt Coverage Diagram Needed
« on: December 22, 2010, 06:24:44 AM »
I am looking for a diagram on punt coverage that shows the SJ and FJ lined up approximately 5 yards behind the deepest receiver
and one when they are on the goal line when the ball is kicked from either the 40 or 50 yard line or outside of it.

Any help is appreciated.

Why are you looking for a diagram of this? We are using a flat coverage, with both deep wings lining up even with the B. Lots of variations, depending on what your supervisors want.

We experimented with lining the deep wings 5 yards behind the deepest receiver (unless punted inside the 50 and then they were on the goal line) it worked well.

If you have a diagram of them lined up with them BJ that would be helpful.

No diagram, that's just how we do it. The B is 5 behind and 5 to the side, and the deep wings line up even with him. I like it as everything is in front of me and it is easier to see my gunners as they close in on the return man.
