TASO Members in Japan
« on: March 11, 2011, 09:48:59 PM »
Many of you know we are privileged to have a contingent of officials from Japan at our State Meeting each year. This past year they were named Honorary TASO Football Members for their continued dedication to football officiating and support of our organization. Beau Hicks has advised two of them have weathered the tragic events there today. Continued prayers for them and all of their countrymen. Message from Beau:

FYI, I ‘ve been in touch with Atsunora Hamada (Atsu) and Akihito Takakura (Aki) each live in Western Japan and they and their families made it through the earthquake with little or no damage. If you ever have been to the annual TASO football meeting you may have meet them they are there every year for many years. Thought you may like to know…… Beau

I am so relieved that our officiating brethren there in Japan are OK despite the massive demise that the earthquake and resulting tsunami has caused there. Our continuous prayers go out to all of those who have been effected by this disaster whether they are actually in Japan, or for that matter anywhere else in the world. May our Lord and Saviour continue to be with everyone who has even remotely sustained a loss of any kind from this massive disaster and we humbly beseech Him to continue to be with these good people of Japan during this most trying time!  And let us all continue to be in prayer for these good people on a daily basis!   In His Name!  z^
