I agree should have been KCI.

Also, don't use colors in your announcements and "First Touching" is a Federation term not an NCAA term.

This is not KCI as R did not have to alter his path to the ball. He is not being impeded and you cannot say that the K gunner knew that the ball was going to hit his head; not that it matters. CC, illegal touching on the kicking team, first down.

Take a look at AR 6-4-1-I and III and see if you don't change your take.

KCI all the way - should not be any question about it - R was not given an unimpeded opportunity to catch the kick - the proof is that the ball hits the kicker's head/shoulder preventing R to get to it.  K has to give way and allow R the ability to catch the kick.

R needs an unimpeded opportunity to cathch the Kick, if the ball bounces off of K who is standing directly in front of him, that must mean he was not afforded an unimpeded right to make that catch.  i say definitly KCI.
