Coach Shows Love for UIL
« on: October 27, 2011, 10:34:06 AM »
During a recent varsity game, where half time had taken about 30 minutes and the teams were ready to get back on the field, the visiting team coach asked if I was going to flag the home team.  I told him that the UIL has told us not to flag any long half times but to report them.  Clearly upset, the coach then said "I don't give a damn or have any respect for that for Buna basketball coach.  I used to coach against him and he was the biggest cheater in the district!"

I just had to smile and laugh.

This must be some kind of a "test" if you will, for this ghost writer to be assisting with the co-authoring of a book about a Buna basketball coaching legend, with yet another  tiphat: Buna basketball coaching legend, aka "Local Boy Makes Good!." I would surmize that if the Ghost Writer does well on this particular project and sells over a million copies, then I'm sure he'll be the official author for the Good UIL Drs. forthcoming and widely anticipated biography, tiphat: Dr. B and All the  :bOW Swell Folks of Manor Road  :!#.   z^

I'm shocked.  Are you implying the Buna basketbal coach does underhanded things like listening into private phone calls?  That sounds hopelessly childish, a phrase i believe a Federal judge used to describe his behavior.
