Linemen Movement

We are seeing this more and more, similar to college and pro.

Linemen are in a 3 point stance. QB calling signals. Stops and then starts calling out audibles.   Linemen turn and go to one knee as they listen and then get back into 3 point stance. Hand never leaves the ground. Is this a foul?  What is the general philosophy now being accepted on this one?  If not abrupt and not simulating action that we'd see at the snap, is it okay?

I think what you are describing is technically a shift.  As long as they are all set for one second before the snap, we have no problem.

Be sure that any covered ends keep their hands on the ground also. That cost my alma mater twice last Saturday!

In what game did that occur?

So, if a TE is on the line and covered up by a receiver, is there a requirement in High School ball for him to be in a 3 pt. stance? Or can he simply be standing up and on the line? (And obviously, not going downfield on a pass play!)

I think he means once their hands go down, they're locked in if they are interior linemen.  Don't let the TE title confuse you.  He may be a TE by title and number but if he is covered up, he's an interior lineman.

It happened in the Louisiana Lafayette vs. Arkansas. The TE was covered by a wide out and in a three point stance. When everyone turned to look to the sidelines for the call, the TE lifted his hand.

The TE didn't lift his hand.  The extra tackle/guard lifted his hand.  If he was covered, he wasn't a TE!
