Camellia Bowl

I did not catch the game but saw something online that one of the deep wings was hurt by something thrown from the stands.  I was wondering if the official is ok. I don't like seeing this sort of thing.

R announced that someone threw something from the stands and hit an official. S left the game and L moved to S and the C moved to L.

Two reasons that the MPD gave that answer, they were told to by the mayor who wants no bad publicity from Montgomery's first year with a new bowl game and the MPD was too inept to catch the perpetrator.

Neither.  The S tore his Achilles tendon.  From what people say, it feels like you've been shot.  I can see why he thought someone threw something, but nothing was ever thrown.

We had that happen to one of our officials.  That is exactly how he described it.  It seemed funny hearing him say he even heard a gunshot.

Not funny at all, happened to me years ago in a JV game only both at the same time. Felt like someone on the sidelines hit me with a 2"x4" across the back of the legs. Think they were just strained but I heard a sound also.
