Posted for discussion. I think this was a horrible call and I think this is why we really should start thinking about getting rid of he ejection. #35 blue was pushed into the QB by #74 white, and of course replay doesn't overturn it. That's not even a late hit for god's sake!

If you notice, this rule has made some drastic changes in the way players are hitting.  The rules committee knew there would be some players that would wrongfully be ejected and that was worth the risk to change the mentality of the players.  It will continue to change the way players hit and in time Targeting will be just like Clipping.  It will basically work itself out of the game.
