Kicking Tee
« on: October 08, 2024, 01:08:13 PM »
In 29 years never came across this....hope someone here can help.

Can a kicker on kickoff LEAN the ball against the tee.....not put in anywhere ON the tee?  So far I've found nothing in the rule book...both Chapter and District Interpreter cannot find anything that does not allow it.  I know you can have it held on the ground, but if you have a tee wouldn't you have to use it as intended, just like player equipment?  This team's kicker wants a bizarre hop on all his kicks....

Thanks!  ??? ??? ??? ???

100% legal.  He can even simply lay the ball on the ground without a tee.  All Legal.
