TASO Lawsuit
« on: August 27, 2010, 12:08:10 PM »
Very strong rumors and rumblings coming out of the Austin area are that the Court of Appeals has ruled on the TASO vs. UIL lawsuit, and that the UIL is the big winner, being granted sovreign immunity AND having the injunction dissolved.  If this is true, some very interesting days ahead for our Texas officials, even if the thing is appealed on to the Supreme Court.

We will have to wait and see what comes next. I can tell you that if UIL insists on taking over they will do so will quite a few less officials.

Easy lawpooch - you're gonna bust a corpuscle. Some folks are actually interested in the largest officiating organization in the nation.   LOL

The topic is over there already but one wonders why you would bother even looking at something that so irritates you. You know, you do not have to click on everything in front of you.

Lawdog - thanks for teaching me about the "state specific" site on this forum.  I've been away for a while, and am just now coming back.  I appreciate the direction - I assure you that you won't hear from me again.
