Non Player fouls

Are all non player fouls (especially USC on an assistant) charged to the head coach?  And Does 2 result in an ejection?  Example - USC on an assistant A and USC on assistant B - Does the head coach get a vacation?

References please.  The only thing I can find is Nonplayer fouls charged to the Head Coach (9-8 Art. 1g and 1h) and 9-5-8 which deals specifically with contact in the restricted area.

Failure to be on the field to start the half and equipment vioations are charged to the head coach.  Other USC fouls get charged to whoever was the culprit.

There is no 9-5-8 in my rule book.  If you mean 9-8-3, a 4th sideline violation would result in the DQ of the head coach.  CONTACT in the restricted area is a separate foul and is separate from the sideline violation progressions, and does not count against the head coach, unless he was the one contacting the official.

Reference should be 9-4-8  - Unintentional contact between a nonplayer and a game official in
the restricted area while the ball is live.

PENALTY:Unintentional contact with a game official in the restricted
area. Nonplayer foul (Art 8) – (S38-29). For the first offense, 15 yards from the
succeeding spot. For the second offense (S38-29-47) – 15 yards from the succeeding
spot and disqualification of the head coach.

Other usc fouls attributed to the head coach are illegal equipment after certifying his players are legally equipped and failing to have his team on the field for 3:00 min. warm-up/start the half.

I had two senior officials this season try to tell me that a USC on an assistant goes to the HC.  You earn your own on those types.  I think some officials mix their basketball rules with their football enforcements.

REPLY: I learned early on that "senior" official does not imply expert or even for that matter competence. It's nothing more than an indication of age and timed served. Of course, now that I'm a 'senior' official, what does it say about me??

How about this play. During the last timed down of the second quarter, team A commits an illegal motion penalty and the HL makes contact with team B's coach in the restricted area. What are the enforcement options?

It means you're of age and have served time AND that you have forgotten more rules knowledge than most of us will ever know.

The illegal motion is a foul at the snap and is during the last timed down of the period.  B can decline to end the period and the contact foul will be enforced from the succeeding spot, the 2nd half KO, or the IM will be enforced and then the contact foul and we'll have an untimed down.
