Rogers Redding to speak at the BRFOC
« on: January 12, 2012, 02:06:16 PM »
It has been confirmed that Dr Redding will attend the Blue Ridge Football Officials Cllinic on March 10 in Chattanooga. The website has been updated to reflect the change, the agenda will be changed to allow Dr Redding to speak. He will also participate in the Supervisor's panel discussion.

To follow up on John's posts earlier, rest assured that the past plusses and minuses reported by the participants of the Blue Ridge Clinic are reviewed by the organizers every year, and they strive to strike the balance of presenters who are both accomplished AND educators for all concerned.  Great group on tap for this year...won't be perfect, but it will be worthwhile based on what I've been led to believe.
But as they, keep those cards and letters coming in for the benefit of all concerned!!!
And plenty for mama to do in downtown Chatta while you're there!!

Just re-visited the Blue Ridge Football Officials Clinic website, and I no longer see Redding mentioned.  Will he still be there this year?

No. He won't be able to make it after all.

That is correct, Dr Redding agreed to attend and then had a conflict with the NFL Competition Rules meeting which he has to attend. We replaced him with Steve Shaw, Supervisor of the SEC.
