Multiple UNS after a score
« on: September 15, 2012, 06:57:27 PM »
Opening drive Team A scores, A88 dunks the ball over the goal post, UNS (very nice height on the jump, I hope the BBall Coach was in attendance!).  A48 runs to the middle of the field at the 50 and does a Terrell Owens style celebration dance, UNS. Remainder of Team runs to the EZ for a Team celebration, UNS. We have three flags for 3 separate events. Team B elected to have all 3 enforced on the Try, A 1-Goal  @ B48. The question is, could Team A have split the enforcements? I.E., two on the Try and one on the Kick?

They showed the dunk on the Fox HS Highlight show.  While it is not spelled out in Rule 10 I think it is implied in the Dead Ball Foul enforcement section that you could do some on the try and some on the KO.  Interestingly, if you had multiple fouls like this after a try and the try has to be repeated, they would all have to be enforced there.  Not sure why there is an apparent discrepancy.

The answer from R Redding is that the offended Team may take the enforcements one by one. That is if they want to take 2 on the Try and one on the Free Kick, they may do that. They may enforce with any combination they want.
As far as the accumulation of UNS's by individual players. The player that dunked the ball, A88, and the player that had the solo dance at the 50, A48, will be recorded. If they commit another UNS they will be ejected. The Team celebration is not credited to any one player.
