Just wanted to share with my fellow officials

I have decided to renew as an auxiliary member of TASO for 2013.

My reasoning for this is, I will not have time to dedicate to on field officiating in 2013.

I am planning on going back to college and getting certified as an EKG technician and EKG Monitor Technician. 

I really wish I could do the on field officiating this season, but my future off the field comes first.

Thanks.

Sometimes the things you love to do have to take a backseat to something that you need to do to make your future bright. That's the way I look at it  :)

With that being said, by renewing as an auxiliary member, I can still continue to be a part of my football chapter and continue to learn  :)

I'll still be around lurking and posting here on refstripes when time permits.

Here's the first update:

Managed to get all my vaccinations and other paperwork together. Also, got all my textbooks and supplies in order. Only thing I have not got yet is scrubs for clinical rotations <Will have to wait until the instructor tells us what color to get>.

Made an appointment for March 6th to go register for the class, with class starting June 4th.

My class schedule will be Tu, We, Th 5pm-9pm

Already started reading my textbook and so far I am getting  pi1eOn with medical terms I am no too familiar with, but at the same time, already learned some things ;D
